Linda McGrier
Date of Birth: December 25, 1954 in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Education:
- Graduated from Beaver College (Arcadia University) in 1976 with a B.A. in Honors and in Sociology
- Studied in London during the fall of 1974 when she took part in the Foreign Studies Program
- She participated in the Harrisburg Urban Semester in 1975
- Member of the Steering Committee for the Association of Beaver College Blacks
- Received a Master of Social Science Degree in Social Policy and Program Development from the Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research in 1981.
- Received her J.D. in 1986 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
After law school, Ms. McGrier worked at the Law Department’s Health and Human Services Litigation Unit for the city of Philadelphia. She also became an Assistant Professor of Law/Justice at Rowan College.

Attorney McGrier is the General Manager for Ilyasah Shabazz Enterprises. She traveled with Ms. Shabazz to Egypt and other countries in the Middle East in April 24. This historic journey allowed Ms. Shabazz to retrace the footsteps of her father Malcolm X (El Hajj Malik Shabazz).
Ms. McGrier and Ms. Shabazz were members of the United States delegation that attended the Women’s Summit in Belize, Central America in 2006. Attorney McGrier enjoys adjunct status at Rowan College.
